Icebergs in Panda Land

New word for the day: Social Information Overload. Not to mention I am an introvert, but that might not matter so much in cyberspace. At an extended family gathering on Sunday I mentioned blog, wiki, flickr etc. to my overly tech family as a way for us to keep in touch, share pictures, etc.-no one was interested. I might mention we can barely reply to each other's emails but we all managed to show up on the right day at approximately the right time. Perhaps they are just so beyond these little amusements? And let's fact it, they are not normal, so I'll just move on and make my own little cyber world and see who responds. Oh, one the of young fellows did volunteer to create a family website so perhaps I'll just attach myself to that.

Dipping into ethereal waters

OK, my first post: I'm feeling slightly liquid and non-dimensional. I can put a hand through my sentences. Luckily there is spell check.
No where to go up up and out. I'm trying to forge a pathway for my Library into, as they say, Web2.0. So into the jungle I head.
